I cannot believe I got this website off the ground!
There is nothing like accomplishing something, anything that helps you to move forward. The I am Northwest Arkansas Podcast was just a dream several months ago that has become reality.
It took on a life of its own and now it’s driving the founder, me, in directions that I never thought were possible.
Be careful what you wish for! It just may happen.
I’m, actually thankful for how things have progressed. After leaving a corporate job and hanging my own shingle I decided that life was too short not to do the things you love to do.
Podcasting is certainly one of those things and it’s something that I would do for FREE any day of the week. I’ve been able to leverage my love for communication and building relationships into something real and tangible.
I’m now making up for the lost time.
When I got to NWA I just put my head down and went to work on someone else’s dream and I put mine on the shelf. While there is nothing wrong working for someone else you must be careful not to lose yourself in the process.
I am Northwest Arkansas has allowed me to meet new people and learn more about what makes this North-Western corner of the Natural State so great.
I have done more than twenty episodes and met a ton of interesting people and learned about business and organizations that are based here. And, there is still so much more to cover.
I plan to do that and like the great song from that English group said,
” I plan to get by with a little help from my friends!”
The Beatles
That’s it for now. We will be back here on a regular basis sharing the podcast and writing about things of interest to anyone currently living in NWA or planning to make a move here. They say that 32.2 Net New People are day are moving to Northwest Arkansas. I don’t quite know how they figure it out but it sounds about right to me.
We are going to continue to grow here and we have to figure out a way to keep building something special.
It will take a Village for sure. I hope you choose to join us on this journey. Please consider subscribing to the I am Northwest Arkansas Podcast by clicking the link below and also jump on our mailing list too! Our latest podcast episode is available at the bottom of every page on this site.
