Randy Wilburn’s Bio:
Podcast communication strategist and entrepreneur Randy Wilburn is the founder of Encourage Build Grow, a firm dedicated to helping companies communicate, develop, and broadcast engaging podcasts. Randy welcomes opportunities to share his podcasting prowess across many verticals and has worked with design firms, engineers, architects, environmental consultants, planners, landscape architects, and construction managers. Under Randy’s guidance, these clients have created and launched internal podcast projects and brand-building customer-facing podcasts.
Randy is the founder and creator of the I am Northwest Arkansas Podcast, where he focuses on covering the intersection of Business, Culture, Entrepreneurship, and Life in the Ozarks. He has interviewed many people and organizations, from Crystal Bridges, the Symphony of NWA (SONA), and the Pryor Center to Chef Matt Cooper, Gary Head of Signature Bank, and Serial Entrepreneur Omar Kasim.
Randy has always gravitated towards work that connects with and encourages others. He is a natural-born communicator who considers himself an ambivert. He’s been involved in podcasting since 2009 and has since produced over 800 episodes. He has also trained over 10,000 professionals in Leadership Development and Communication Strategy.
Randy’s resume includes teaching experience, travel/real estate business ownership, and production assistant work with the ABC News Network. He is a graduate of Howard University. Randy sits on the Boards of Ozark Natural Foods, the Fayetteville Public Library Foundation, and the Downtown Fayetteville Rotary.
Born in Virginia and raised in Northern New Jersey, Randy credits his grandparents for instilling self-confidence, determination, and a solid moral compass in him. He lives by the golden rule in his personal and professional lives and is never swayed from his belief that it costs nothing to be nice to others.
Randy is most proud to be a loving husband to Nicola and a dad to three boys, Joshua, Nathan, and Aiden. When he’s not working, he enjoys journaling, cycling, playing basketball, and rooting for any Pittsburgh sports franchise, especially the Steelers.
