About the Show:
We recently sat down with Nate Walls from Secondhand Smoke BBQ And Second Helping NWA to catch up with him and find out how things are going. We featured Nate on Episode 42 of the podcast almost two years ago.
Nate has a big BBQ Grill but an even bigger heart. As soon as the pandemic hit he went into overdrive making sure that people all around Northwest Arkansas had food to eat. We even had a chance to visit local communities to distribute food. Nate cooks with love and passion and it shows when you see the look on people’s faces after enjoying one of his meals.
He runs a business too – Secondhand Smoke BBQ but his mission is to feed those that cannot always feed themselves has taken center stage – Second Helping NWA.
Listen to this episode and hear how Nate has evolved over the past two years with the help of a bunch of local chefs in the area including Jerrmy Gawthrop from Woodstone Woodfired Pizza.
And, if you want to support what Nate is doing by donating your time or talent to the mission you can do that too!
Nate’s heart is pure and he will move you to action whether you love BBQ or not.
