Episode 2: 4.2 Million people can’t be wrong, a visit with Crystal Bridges

About the Show:

On this episode of the podcast, we sit down with Beth Bobbitt Director of PR at Crystal Bridges Art Museum in Bentonville. The museum has been open since 11/11/11 and has enlightened and engaged over 4.2 Million guests since.

Beth walked us through the history of the museum, how Crystal Bridges encourages students and their schools to visit – even offering to pay for the field trip, the Distinguished Speaker Series, and some of the great artists that are featured in the permanent collection including Rockwell, Pollock, O’Keefe, Rothko, Warhol, and many more.

This hidden gem of the Ozarks has expertly manicured grounds with a Frank Lloyd Wright house and wonderful walking trails.

Beth also shared with us some of her favorite places to eat including Eleven, Crystal Bridges own restaurant featuring some of the finest High South Cuisine this side of the Mississippi. During her downtime, Beth also likes hanging out with her family at the 8th St. Market including YeYo’s and having a beer at Bike Rack Brewery among other things.
