From Tontitown to Springdale to Little Rock and beyond with NWA’s own Philip Taldo

About the Show:

On this episode of the podcast, we sit down with Philip Taldo, Broker Owner of Weichert Griffin residential and commercial real estate in Springdale, AR. Philip was born and raised in NWA, and he has a unique perspective on the growth of Northwest Arkansas.

In addition to being a small business owner, Philip is also on the Arkansas Highway Commission and the Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport Authority.   Philip’s father was the Mayor of Tontitown. Philip talked about his Italian heritage and we discussed the creation of Beaver Lake, the Bobby Hopper Tunnel, and the improvement of traffic between Central Arkansas and NWA.

Philip shared another cool fact:

In the last nine years, the State of Arkansas population has increased by 86K people with 72K added to Northwest Arkansas alone. This area is growing. Philip also mentioned that in the future as our population grows Washington and Benton County will be its own Congressional District.
