Dr. Bowtie Todd and his passion for people

About the Show:

On this episode of the podcast, we sit down with Dr. Todd Jenkins, Global Inclusion Leader with JB Hunt. We discussed everything that he is working on including the upcoming NWA Young Professional Summit. The #NWAYPSummit is taking place at the Walton Arts Center on August 9th, 2019.

Dr. Todd talked about growing up in Columbia, SC, where he learned firsthand that it does take a Village to raise up future champions and giants. Never seen without a Bowtie on Dr. Todd lives his ideals out every day. He explained that his BOWTIE is an acronym for:

Be mentally and physically present.

Open to new ideas.

Willing to share your perspective & TIE it all together.

The Young Professional Summit is supported by the local Rotary, the University of Arkansas, and other organizations that are focused on helping Young Professionals prepare themselves in a variety of areas including personal and professional development and community and civic involvement. They also throw a little networking in the mix for good measure.

In the words of Dr. Todd, “Age is a number but maturity is a mindset!”
