33 – What’s Happening? Just Ask JazzyJaeNWA

About the Show:

People move to Northwest Arkansas for a variety of reasons. Some come for the obvious opportunities provided by Fortune 500 firms like Wal-Mart, JB Hunt, and Tyson. Still, others come to attend the University of Arkansas. And some people actually come here to retire. Go figure!

We sat down with the dynamic duo of J’aaron Merchant and Jasmine Hudson also known as JazzyJaeNWA to learn how they got started curating and sharing cool information and the latest events here in Northwest Arkansas. These young ladies are super talented and they’ve created a persona and business that is uniquely theirs and uniquely NWA.

These guys started JazzyJaeNWA to share the latest food, art, and fun things to do here in the Ozarks.  As African Americans, they also saw the need to highlight Black-owned businesses with Black Owned NWA where they document not only what they are doing but also all of the minority-owned businesses in Northwest Arkansas. If you are new to the area and are looking for a good barber or the nearest place to get your “Sister Locks,” or braids done, JazzyJaeNWA can help.

In addition to all of their projects, both hold down full-time jobs. Jasmine works at Wal-Mart and J’Aaron works as an Animator and Children’s Book Artist.  Both of the ladies are super talented and definitely good people to know no matter what you want to know or do in Northwest Arkansas.
